Sheet Music
To the two people who asked about it, Yes, I know the sheet music isn't up yet, and yes,
I know I'm a lazy arse for not converting them all to .PDF format yet! Just hold yer horses!
It's exam week, and I'm kinda busy . . .but I
promise
all the sheet music for the
completed
songs
will be up next week.
(Unless they're not.)
In other news, I finally have a fairly stable demo for
The Book of the Dead
...but almost no one
can play it because I phailed at including the RTP the hard way. I guess I'll just do it the
easy way, but instead of a nice, 12MB file, it's going to be around 40MB.
Sorry! >.<

A Brave Undertaking
So.
I think I've decided to compose a piece for my school's orchestra. >.>
Yeah, I know, I'm crazy. I just think it'll be fun . . .they're probably not going to play it, but the
music I normally write is fit so that it sounds good in a .MID file, and I've never composed any-
thing for orchestra. So I'm going to try.
If I really can't think of anything original, I may just edit and expand '
The Bard's Tale
' to fit an
orchestra. I really like that song, anyways . . .
Just me rambling. . . .

Celebrating the Success of the Physics Song
Hello!
As
some
of you know, today was the due date for my Physics class' extra credit assignment, which was to
create a song somehow relating to physics. All the other groups altered the lyrics to pre-existing songs,
which is exactly what our teacher expected. My partnership, however, decided to go all-out and compose
an orignal song.
The song was simply titled "The Physics Song" and is a very strange mix of Avenue Q, Sesame Street, and
Candide. Mrs. Oliver's third period class seemed to thoroughly enjoy the song and gratuitous PowerPoint,
whereas fourth block seemed thouroughly disinterested, but I really don't care, because my composing skills
were complemented by a few members of the online composing site
Ichigos.com
-- people who actually
appreciate this sort of thing.
The Physics Song, the Sheet Music for The Physics Song, and (although I have no idea why anyone would
want it,) the PDF I showed along with the song will all be available for download a few minutes after I type
this entry.
There was a video to go along with the song, but because of my partners busy schedule (love you, sasha <3...)
we were unable to complete it on time for the assignment, but as soon as my partner finishes it, the video
will
also
be available for download.

Er . . .hello?
Been a while since I've posted a blog entry, at least in InterwebYears it has.
I'm a pretty lazy person, actually, so it's a wonder i'm even posting
this
soon.
So, as I've
completely
abandoned spilling my personal life all over the internet (If you read my introduction on the forums,
though, you'll see that I'll respond to PMs . . .) Here are some updates for the site:
I. You may have noticed that I very recently swapped Message Board programs. That's a long, long, long story, but
it will never ever ever happen again. Sorry for the inconvenience
II. I and a classmate of mine recently finished a collaborative song about Physics as an extra-credit assignment. It will
be available for download (Although I don't know why you'd
want
such a thing) from the site within the week
III. I'm still employing people (Without pay, of course ^^) to Beta test the forums to make sure everything runs smoothly
with the numerous modifications I'm adding. You don't really have to apply to be a Beta Tester, just . . .let me know.
I guess that's all for now. : P

Positions Available
Just wanted to let you all (Yes, all three of you) know that positions are available for the Forums. Those positions include:
Global Moderators: (x2)
Specific Foum Moderators (However many
I'll also be needing members to take charge of the Starving Artists, Writer's Guild, Composers Inc., and Filmmaker usergroups. If you'd like to apply for any of these positions, you should probably start posting in the forums, just to show me that you'd actually be dedicated to your job. No, I don't expect you to constantly lurk around the forums 24/7; i'm not even saying you have to be active every day . . .just pop in once or twice a week or something . . .It's seriously not that demanding a job.
The second thing you'd need to do is become familiar with rules. Just the basic rules, i.e. no trolling, spamming, flaming, necroposting (unless you have something to add), et cetera.
The third and final thing only applies if you want to be a co-leader of a usergroup: You must be fairly proficcient in that Usergroup's specialty, i.e. (am I using that correctly?) don't apply to lead the Starving Artists if you don't know your primaries from your secondaries . . .
So, what are you waiting for? Sign up already! If you haven't even registered on the forums, do that as well!
XD Thanks,
--Malexos
